Circulation Heating Unit CHU-2

Description

UCO-2 CIRCULATION HEATING UNIT

The circulation heating unit (UCO) is intended for circulation and heating of water in a ring pipeline in automatic watering systems for cold rooms housing cattle, horses, pigs and sheep.

The heating element sleeve is made of stainless steel and mounted on a non-conductive base.

The supply voltage of the circulation heating unit is 400 V.

The installed heater power is 6 kW. The heating element is equipped with a thermal sensor that automatically maintains the water temperature within the set range.

The circulation heating unit has a power-on light indicator and a digital indicator of the adjustable water temperature. The electrical components of the circulation heating unit are protected against short circuit and leakage current.

Version specifications: for pipelines up to 400 m (circulation pump power up to 420 W).

Overall dimensions, mm (L×W×H): 600×570×280.

Reliable Drinking Bowls for Modern Livestock Housing

Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel
Manufactured from corrosion-resistant food-grade stainless steel to withstand aggressive farm environments and heavy animal contact.
High Flow Capacity
Equipped with high-performance valves that quickly replenish water, preventing queues and stress around the watering points.
Winter Frost Protection
Compatible with internal heating elements and circulation systems (CHU series) to prevent freezing in uninsulated barns.
Quick Drain & Easy Maintenance
Designed with large drain outlets and smooth edges for fast emptying, rapid flushing, and safe use without injury risk.

How to Choose the Right Drinking Bowls?

Choosing the right drinking bowls depends on several factors: barn layout, herd size, water pressure, connection type, and winter temperature conditions.
Step 1
Animal type and headcount
Determine the number of cows, calves, or bulls per pen. Choose between compact individual drinking bowls and long group troughs (AP-ON, AP-SN) to ensure sufficient drinking space.
Step 2
Housing and mounting type
Choose wall-mounted, floor-mounted, or post-mounted units based on your barn infrastructure, bedding system, and stall partition setup.
Step 3
Winter temperature regime
For uninsulated or cold barns, select models with integrated heating elements or connect them to a closed-loop circulation heating unit.
Step 4
Water connection and pressure
Verify line pressure and inlet diameters (1/2 or 3/4 inch) to ensure the valve flow rate can handle peak consumption.
